Better Living With Exercise

 

 

If you are recovering from or managing a medical condition or need support to be more active, we would like to introduce you to our Living Fit fitness programs. These programs will empower you to take your health and fitness to the next level. When you complete one of our fitness programs, you will see real results and feel comfortable and confident about exercise.

Living Fit is a collection of eight specialized fitness programs for individuals transitioning from or managing a medical condition. These programs are also available for individuals who need additional support to improve their level of physical activity or whose doctors have told them they need to exercise to prevent a chronic condition. Each program is six weeks and gives you the support you need to be successful, including:

·        Assessment at the beginning of the program

·        An individualized exercise plan

·        One 60-minute group workout session per week

·        One personal training session per week

·        Unlimited, full access to the gym

·        The option to join the gym with waived enrollment at the end of the program

Michelle’s professional interests include women’s health, athletic performance, and exercise prescription for general health and wellness. She has completed internships in cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, physical therapy, general physical activity for all age ranges, and dietetics. Her goal for LIVING FIT is to ensure those who are being treated for a medical condition or have received their doctor’s recommendation to incorporate exercise into daily life and those who want to participate in exercise after an inactive lifestyle are able to do so in a safe, uplifting environment.
